Service Project, I will be planting 400 saplings along Carol Creek in Great Falls
National Park, Maryland. This area of 0.96 acres became severely eroded during the

This is a day when area citizens can volunteer to help with projects that benefit
Great Falls Park.

project is in Maryland, I will arrange for carpools to drive volunteers to and from
the park. Volunteers and drivers should plan to meet at Sanders Corner Elementary
School at 7:30 AM. Carpools will depart at 7:45 AM in order to arrive at Great
Falls National Park, Maryland by 8:30 AM. We will begin working on the project
promptly at 9:00 AM. Please note that permission slips will be required for
carpooling. I will send the form out later this week.
Please bring gardening gloves and wear clothing that you won’t mind getting dirty.
I am also in need of two wheelbarrows. I will provide the tools to plant the
Please sign up to volunteer and/or drive. Thank you very much in advance.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
